Debbie Van Der Hyde offers more than 15 years of marketing and communications experience. As a freelance writer, she is focused on helping clients express their brand, sell their services and share their knowledge through effective communication materials.
In the first 10 years of her career, Debbie worked her way up the corporate ladder at a global management consulting company. While serving as a manager on a major internal communications initiative, she pinpointed her next career ambition: professional writing. It was only a matter of time before she seized the opportunity to launch her business as a freelance writer.
Debbie quickly achieved status as a preferred writer for her former employer. At the same time, she cultivated new clients using her unique ability to speedily assess a project and produce compelling copy--on time and within budget. During these years, she focused on writing about groundbreaking topics such as the advent of the mobile industry, trends in outsourcing and more.
The emergence of the green economy provided new perspective and writing options for Debbie. She expanded her repertoire into blogging about sustainability, renewable energy and green technology.
When not wordsmithing, Debbie likes to spend time with her family, volunteer, garden, watch soccer and lacrosse, take yoga classes and drive an electric vehicle.
